I just had to write a review for these glasses. I purchased every size that they offer (including the pitcher) at a store (walmart or target) over 10 years ago. I am still using them!! I'm here to get another set. My kids have been using the small juice size at the table since they were 3 years old. They have never knocked them over. I constantly get compliments on them....how they are so heavy and nice looking. Love the feel. I can't say enough about them and I thought that after a DECADE of use - I should write and tell everyone how great they are!

Another fun thing. Over the last 10 years, I have noticed these glasses on DOZENS of television shows and movies. Must be a great item for set designers.

I am proud to say that I have been a previous owner of this type of glass.Unfortunately they were sent off to college with my brother.But these are really great because you can drop them and they dont break.Nice and heavy and very druable.But not too heavy to hold.They make a nice glass for a tall glass of iced tea in the summer.And any other time of the year.Definately a great buy!Luckily one was left behind so that is my favorite drinking glass and I use it constantly.

I love these glasses so much!! They are sturdy, attractive, don't slip in your hand if the glass sweats in the summer outside. This is my 2nd or 3rd set over the years. They don't make the lovely green anymore, so I tried the clear. These glasses are very nicely balanced in your hand. I had purchased some other glasses that were very nice & much pricier than these..thinking I wanted to maybe find something new when the set had dwindled down..but I hated the feel of the new ones in my hand as they were too large around for a nice comfortable grip so I gave them away as a wedding gift to a couple with big hands who would appreciate them!

I bought 2 dozen of these glasses, based on other customers' reviews, and I'm glad I did. They are heavy and do not tip over easily, which is a must in my house. I wish I'd bought them years ago. I think they are very attractive. I'm going to buy some of the smaller size to use as juice glasses. Our local grocery store sells these for $0.50 per glass more than Amazon does, so I am getting a bargain here, to boot.

Update 3/7/10: A few weeks ago my son poured milk into a room temperature glass, and it split down the seams. It fell perfectly in half. We thought about sticking the halves together and putting the glass back into the cabinet as a practical joke, but decided not to just in case it might cut someone (or really irritate my husband, were he to be The One). I changed my review to 4 stars because of this anomaly.

I have NO IDEA what that one lady is referring to who said that they aren't 16-ounces... They're 16-ounces :). Always have been... likely always will be.

These are very practical wide and tall glasses. The price is great. The glasses are ideal for daily use both with hot and cold liquids.

Exactly what I wanted. Price and deliver were good, and I could get the 16 oz tumblers without getting the small juices glasses. Most most stores sell the 16 oz and 5 oz juice glasses as a set, so this was a real plus for me.

I love the heft of these glasses. Like the other reviewers, I have had a set of 12, and unlike other glass sets I have owned, not one has broken or chipped. They look great and are really solid. I always get compliments on the glasses and it is so great to find they are still available for purchase. Lovely glasses.

I am very happy with these glasses. They are a nice, heavy weight and seem to be holding up well in the dishwasher.

I originally inherited 4 of these from my aunt when she moved out of state. They were my favorites for a long time, in the 10+ years I had the original 4 I managed to lose 1 while moving. Then I decided to look for more, I knew that she'd had them forever before I got them, so I figured I'd be stuck looking for 1 or 2 of them at a time on Ebay as they became available, but thought I'd check and see if they were still making them and started searching on Amazon. Imagine my surprise when I found them, and in many sizes too!

Of course I had to order all 3 sizes. I just got them today and they're great, not a single one broken, however none of them are exactly the same size as my original ones, so apparently the originals were some odd inbetween sizes that is no longer made. In any case, I can't wait to start using them, the largest size look perfect for iced tea, and the smallest juice glass size are so cute (although they are a lot smaller than I imagined they would be - think a really tall shot glass size).
