I love this dish, it's really well made, and I love that it has a top to make it easy to transport. Though I thought I initially wouldn't mind that it was footless, I do have to say I missed the little bit of extra charm that comes with a trifle dish when it has a nice foot.


Overall though, great product!

This bowl is of high quality, very thick glass (fuctional, portable, sturdy).
Perfect for all except the most formal settings.

This is a great trifle dish at a great value; it fits in the refrigerator just fine. No need to move shelves around to accommodate a stem and no need to worry about holding the full dish to attach a stem. It can also be used as a large salad bowl or a fruit compote. This trifle bowl is not only great for trifles, but salads as well. It is great for someone with not a lot of cabinet storage space as it does not have the bulky stand other trifle bowls have. If you need a trifle bowl this is the one and only one you would ever need.

Have used it more often for storage and transport than making trifle. A bit small, but a good deal for the money.

Trifle bowls with stems are pretty, but not for travel in the care. This is the best, nofoot and a cover too. Love it. Attractive and practical. Way to go!

I think the title of this review pretty much sums it up. This is not the most elegant trifle dish out there. Without the pedestal it just doesn't look very fancy. However, I don't think I would have it any other way. If it had a pedestal it would be impossible to store in my refrigerator. Besides easy storage the dish and lid are also dishwasher safe and having a tight fitting lid makes travel extremely easy and convenient. The price has to be the last selling point. Great purchase for the price!!!

Would definitely recommend this trifle bowl.
It is GREAT for trifle and has many, many other uses especially because it has a cover and it's Anchor Hocking....NICE!!

I purchased this because it had a lid that I could use when taking a trifle for dessert to family occasions. The trifle looks very pretty and the lid keeps the ingredients in and everything else out. I like the look of the footless dish and plan on using it frequently for fruit and my favorite trifles.
