It is very thick glass so it is durable and stays in place in the door of the fridge. It also washes up in the dish washer nicely.

Good, decent butter dish.
You have to take about a second of your time to center a regular-sized stick of butter onto the dish or the sides of the lid may smoosh it a bit.
Careful of that lid, too. Mine arrived with a tiny nick in it that could cut. That, however, is more of a packaging issue than a product issue.
The price was entirely reasonable for the quality of the product.

What a nice glass butter dish. I replaced a plastic Rubbermaid that was starting to get sticky because of age. Sometimes I wonder what the butter absorbs through the plastic. Glass seems to be the purest container. This dish was a bit pricier than the plastic but you get what you pay for. Now I hope I don't drop it!

This butter dish is exactly the same as one I owned before. I like that it is clear and fits into the butter compartment on my refrigerator door.

I like a clear glass butter dish but they are hard to find. This one is nice, thick glass but it is unfortunately small. The long, skinny sticks of butter fit in it just fine but the shorter, fatter ones have a tendency to touch the sides. It mars the appearance of the glass but doesn't affect the function terribly.

It's a butter dish. What more can I say?
It holds my butter very well.

It squishes the corners of a normal stick of butter, and there's no room for the last of a butter stick and a new together in the same dish. It is very messy looking since it is see-through. I'm going to return it.

This butter dish does the job. If it was much larger it would be hard to carry. I'm very impressed with it. I have been using it for about 6 months now.

this is a great butter dish and actually is cheeper than some of the plastic ones out there and is way better quality .. no complaints
