Anchor Hocking 5-c. Glass Refrigerator Storage Container.

I bought a 12 cup, two 8 cup, and 4 two cup Anchor Hocking glass storage containers. They would be terrific if the lids/containers were level. Instead, the lids teeter-totter on top of the containers, on some as much as 1/4". Some are better than others, but none of them fit right.

Its really not that difficult to manufacture items that are straight/level, and I resent being sold obviously defective items that are not advertised as such.

I will not purchase another Anchor Hocking product.

These all glass containers are beautiful and functional for home use. Since the lids do not fit tight, they would not work in a lunchbox and taking them out of the home in general is not easy unless you find another way of securing the lid.

These glass storage containers are great. I owned some before, and they are very sturdy and practical for storing leftovers in the fridge. Much better than plastic! And you can put hot food right into them and not worry about ending up with plasic in your food.

I can't recommend them highly enough.

I bought 1 12-cup, 2 5-cup and 4 2-cup. These are the best ever and I will probably buy more in the future, should I ever need them. The lids are even on mine, so I have no complaints about that. I use them in the fridge, freezer, etc. I wish I had known they sold them at Walmart for super cheap. I could have saved a ton on shipping and the dishes themselves! Great product all around.

not as stackable or lightweight as plastic.. but then that is the point.. It is GLASS.. No chance of chemical leaching and more flexible than plastic since it can go in the oven etc. and does not stain like plastic..does the work of two containers.. Sometimes an old and simple idea still works.. yay

These are wonderful for storing left overs and go directly from fridge to microwave or oven. They are stackable as well. The lids aren't supposed to fit as snugly as plastic ware as one complained about. I couldn't be happier and the food looks better, taste better and the fridge looks lovely with all that glass instead of plastic.

I love this and all the other storage containers that Anchor Hocking has. I'm changing out my plastic storage for glass and love the retro-look of the containers as well. I recommend this product. The fact that you can use it in the oven is an added feature.

We have all three sizes of these containers, and they are great. Have had them for several years now, use them constantly, always wash in dishwasher, and not one of them has so much as chipped. The lids are not completely airtight but they seal well enough that food does not dry out. Stack easily, too. Highly recommend!

Products are beautiful, but the lids are uneven. So before buying, consider what you may use these for in terms of storage

These containers are efficient, appealing to look at, and very safe. In a time when dangers from plastics are a serious concern, I don't know why more people do not purchase these fabulous storage containers. They seal very well for not having a gasket. Moisture and odors are effectively trapped inside. In addition, they fit very well into refrigerators because of their rectangular shape.
