5.0 out of 5 stars 5 Years & 5 Stars
It's amazing, I purchased a set of 8 of the Old Fashion glasses 5 years ago and still have 7 left [the 8th suffered a fall onto our tile floor].

They are good looking, nicely balanced and used regularly. Washing in the dishwasher hasn't been a problem!!!

I don't know how anyone could be sorry for buying these glasses.

By the way, comparing these glasses to others...

My step-daughter got a set of glasses, and 3 family members cut themselves because they broke as they were washing them. I thought I'd replace her [poorly made] and dangerous ones with these, due to what I thought of as the quality name brand Anchor Hocking. She already got a different set of glasses, so I kept them for myself. One was broken in the box when I opened them...

I'm placing an order with Amazon for another set.

One was broken in the box when I opened them up. I thought no big deal. I started using them, and within a month, of the 16 total, I am down to only one large one and four small ones. I also have 2 less butterfly stitches and 6 less bandaids in my cabinet. My daughter informed me that these were the EXACT glasses she experienced the same problems with. I am sorry to discover that Anchor Hocking is no longer going to be associated with quality, as it used to be in the past.

I love the look of these, and they've been a great value--about seven years ago I bought four of all 4 sizes, and only two are gone (my grandchildren love the oversized ones)! In 40 years, I never found glasses that went with everything, and survived, so I'm stocking up with this large set of my favorite sizes. Thank you, Amazon.com!
