5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect small sundae glasses
I was looking for a cute serving dish for make-your-own-parfaits in a size that wouldn't invite kids to scoop in 2 cups of yogurt. This was ideal. A teaspoon works perfectly with this size - anything larger would be too big. A wonderful dish to serve treats in and make smaller portions seem special.

2.0 out of 5 stars DANGEROUS QUALITY CONTROL ISSUES!!!
I bought these because they match my mothers 20 year old ones which need to be replaced. I received them today and out of curiosity I opened the package just to make sure they matched. They did except for one MAJOR and DANGEROUS FLAW!!! The base of the inside of the dish was not ground down and had a glass strand going from the base to the rim of the glass. Anyone...

Anyone eating out of it with a spoon could have easily broken off the glass and eaten it which could have cut their mouths or worse, torn up their internal organs. I spent 2 hours meticulously inspecting each glass to make sure they had no strands and then grinding the base of the glass down so no one would be hurt by them and all but 2 had them. I ruined a spoon in the process would recommend that anyone else who considers buying these think twice. I know who ever reads this review is probably thinking, "Why didn't you just return them?!" Well, these are a Christmas gift and I don't have the time to send them back only to possibly get a second shipment with the same defect. EPIC FAIL on the part of Anchor Hocking to ensure they sell a safe product. I'm just glad I was able to fix the problem myself before anyone got hurt.

These dishes were a big disappointment. They were very small and could not hold a regular size sundae. They were listed as holding 5 ounces which turned out to be small dishes.

Invite the neighbors.... bring the kids... with a dozen ice cream sundae dishes you'll be able to make plenty of sundaes for everyone! These authentic old fashioned dishes bring back the feeling of being at the local ice cream parlor!

This is the perfect set for the true ice cream connoisseur.

I particularly enjoy having twelve dishes so even after a somewhat formal dinner.... I can offer a "make your own sundae" to my guests and invariably... they delight in their creations! This is better than eating cake for dessert!

4.0 out of 5 stars great sundae cup!, June 10, 2010

This is a great 4-5 oz sundae cup. Very much like the old soda shops! It will hold 1-2 scoops with toppings ... just ,like the soda shops with it all on top and coming over the sides with the cherry on top!

Purchased for teacher end of the year gifts with ice cream toppings.

There was a sharper edge on one outside edge, but not sharp enough to cut.

Overall great!

These are great - not too small and not too big! There are plenty of them in the pack as well. I am really pleased.
