Product Description

Genuine Ancient Roman Widows Mite coin to add to your collection. Hand-struck from copper/bronze between 103-76 BC, these were the very coins referred to in the Bible under Luke 21:2, when Jesus made an example of the poor widow who gave two mites (all she had) to the Temple offering, compared to wealthier members who gave only a smaller portion with great flair. A great hands-on piece of Ancient Biblical history for any collection!

This was a big disappointment and I rarely return anything but I did return this Item. I don't think it was properly represented it was poor at best and the picture was deceiving. It was a chip or portion of a widows mite. VERY SAD TO HAVE TO RETURN IT. i HAVE IN THE PAST KEPT SEVERAL IN THIS QUALITY BUT IT WAS EXTREMLY OVER PRICED.

1.0 out of 5 stars Too Small March 12, 2012

The Widows Mite is a nice small ancient coin and a part of history. However, the entire folder for the coin is only once inch by two inches. It is so small, you will laugh when you receive it.
