This is a beautifully designed book. The drawings stand on their own, and teach as well as provide coloring fun. This book is great for 4th to 6th graders. I will be using it to enhance a unit on Ancient Egypt and think the kids will love it.

Kids of all ages should love this book. It is historically accurate, and the pictures are easy to color. Just have a lot of "sand" type colors available. The art work is excellent, and the resulting pictures can look really "spiffy" if you use bright colors. There is a nice spectrum of subjects, dealing with everyday life, to nobles & royalty, famous battles, mummies, and ending with Cleopatra meeting Ceasar. A really neat book for the price.

this book gives lots of info. for a coloring book. the pictures are relly nice, but have lots of small lines that are hard to color.
