In 3 volumes Bunting (1773–1843) published almost 300 airs and practically single-handedly rescued Irish music from oblivion. The present collection, the last of the trilogy, is enriched by an invaluable 100-page preface and followed by 151 Irish airs arranged for piano, with the Irish names of the airs, their authors, and dates of composition.

I was extremly pleased about this booklet. The content consisting of many old Irish music pieces and a very interesting and detailed description of the Irish Harp and its former players made it an outstanding booklet far above of what I expected. The 1792 meeting of 15 Irish harp player in Ireland obviouly had a great influence in the collection of this booklet and I was surprised to note the great Geminiani (Italien composer)had such an influence in Irish music. I can highly recommend this music collection for any advanced piano player.
