This review is from: Ancient Mysteries of Melchizedek (Paperback)
I collect books on Kabbalah, Sufism, Buddhism and enjoy reading about Eastern Philosophy in general. But this book is not a broad disscussion of anything (as the description may lead you to believe). Whole sections are restated biblical scripture interspersed with simple meditative concepts such as controling your thoughts and expectations. Chapters such as "Attractive Personality" are hardly what I expect to find in a scholarly work. These can be found in any of the most basic books on new age thought. The author comes accross more as a preacher than a learned man. Also the author seems to believe that simply calling Jesus and God by their old biblical names is supposed to create some mystical state in the reader. Needless to say it doesn't. I regret this purchase.
