this is an excellent tangram book. it has 500 puzzles ranging from easy to difficult with solutions in the back of the book. it's magnetic cover and peices allows you to do this anywhere and not worry about losing peices. it's great for airplanes and car trips.

I got this book for an 8 year old boy for christmas, remembering doing tangrams when I was a kid. My friends found it, opened it, and spent then next week or so trying as many of the puzzles as humanly possible, having loads of fun taking turns with it. This book is great for all ages, anywhere, from in the car (with those ingenious magnetic pieces and board!) to home or school, or work to occupy anyone for a time. I took the opened book to the boy when I babysat him next (i decided to keep it and get him another of these books) and he loved it! we spent almost the whole time doing these puzzles. They vary in difficulty, but the solutions are in the back if you do occasionally get stumped. I recommend this book highly for anyone who likes math, puzzles, the crosswords, etc. or just some fun. =) The best thing about this book is that it works for a versatile audience, but that it is self contained with its trifold layout and magnetic tangram pieces and board. Perfect gift that's not really a book or a toy, but both - and educational too!

Fun content, missing pieces. I wouldn't have purchased this if I'd known that some some of the Tangram puzzle pieces were going to be missing.
