The Ancient Romans,
By "syed087" (Irving, TX USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Ancient Romans (Cultures of the Past) (Library Binding)
The Ancient Romans is a very detailed and first-rate look at the structure of ancient Rome. I liked how all the information was grouped with relevant information, and that the information was straightforward. The book is also good because it looks at many aspects of ancient Rome, such as how Rome started and expanded, art and literature, religion, and a look at the lives of the ancient Romans. The pictures supplied had detailed captions to describe them. I also liked how, at the end of the book, most of the important events in ancient Rome, from its beginning to its end, are chronologically placed.
