Pictures within a picture for more difficulty, excellent quality of piece construction and clarity. Very typical of Clementoni puzzles. Pieces come sealed in a plastic bag.

Good quality puzzle. Came on time and I am pretty sure it has all of the pieces ... however, since it is 2000 pieces strong, I have yet to finish it!

This puzzle was very challenging, addictive, and rewarding. Hours of fun. The pieces are sturdy and well made and they should last a long time.

One of my favorite puzzle! The quality of the pieces was fantastic, the pieces interlocked nicely, and the picture was gorgeous. I'm ready to put it together again :)

I'm a serious jigsaw puzzle enthusiast but I wasn't up to the challenge this time. I normally wouldn't pick a Pannini painting but I received Ancient Rome as a gift from friends. My excitement quickly turned into frustration. The colors are very dark, much darker than the picture on the box. Most of the pieces have to be carefully scrutized, which is very straining to the eyes. In addition, as you can see, 75% of the puzzle are paintings from Rome with very similar frames, so it takes a lot of trial-and-error to find out where each piece belongs. Worst of all is that the pieces are interlocking but are uniformly shaped. This means that a dark piece may be at the wrong place even if it fits well with its neighbours.

I was making intolerably slow progress and I felt uninspired. I realized I had no fun with this puzzle, so I finally abandoned it and went on to work on a 3,000pc puzzle by Trefl. I was able to complete that one in two weeks.

Assemling puzzles should be fun, not a nerve-wracking device. If you feel ready for a step up and this is your first 2,000pc piece, my recommendation is to try something else first. This one is definitely very challenging and may take a while and some frustration to work on, especially if alone.
