This review is from: An Ancient World in Chaos (God King Scenario) (Paperback)
The God King Scenario(GKS)raises questions and provides some very
interesting answers-i found this book to be very well written and practical. I do not agree that the Ancient Egyptians were polytheists nor naive/childlike in their outlook (which can be read as primitive). Other than the above disagreement i found the author to have provided an original thought process on various levels and his enthusiasm for Egypt cannot be denied and shines through in both of his books. I enjoyed this book and think Mr. Gilligan is onto something very tangible! Take the cold shower and check it out for yourself and come to your own conclusion.

This review is from: An Ancient World in Chaos (God King Scenario) (Paperback)
At the beginning of the book, the author mentionned that he would not use mythology to explain worlds in Chaos, unlike Velikovsky. However, my opinion is that he uses myths and egyptian religion (mythology) all the way. The formation of the planets and especially that of Mercury is a little too weird in my opinion. Other books offer more plausible explanations for the solar system development. The book is written too long with many repetitions to fill the pages. I like concise and precise scientific books and this one is not. It is more an essay than a scientific book. I would not recommand reading it.
