Ancor Heavy Duty Lug Crimper
I purchased this product over one year ago and have used it many times in replacing heavy duty wires for cars and boats. It is one of those rare products that works as advertized. I bought this to crimp 2/0 lugs for rewiring my boat. It did the job. I broke my vise using it and afterward had much better luck with a big hammer. I wanted something I can carry onboard. If I had the space to carry it and the money to buy it I would rather have a regular crimp tool with handles.

I purchased this product over one year ago and have used it many times in replacing heavy duty wires for cars and boats. It is one of those rare products that works as advertized. It is simple, easily stored and should last long enough to pass down to the next generation. Simple, well designed, and it does exactly what it is intended to do. I don't know if there are cheaper imitations around, but I would not recommend that you try to save a few bucks. I could envision a less well made product bending from the hammer blows. My Ancor crimper has taken a lot of blows from the hammer, but is as good as the day it arrived. I highly recommend it.
