I really enjoyed this season, but it was not as good as previous ones. I felt they left some questions unanswered and never brought the older children back to help tie up loose ends. And in the final episode, how in the world were ALL those people going to fit in the RV??

But all those minor faults are just mostly my "Pollyanna" desire for happy endings and everything explained! That's not real life...things just don't get tied up with a ribbon and everyone rides into the sunset to a "happily ever after"!! All in all, things were left just the way life is...with unanswered questions and hopes and dreams and varied possibilities. A delightful family story, dealing with real life problems and solutions.

We loved every minute of ten seasons of this goofy, over-the-top, sugary-sweet show, and the finale of Season 10 was clearly meant to be the series finale. Most of the series regulars had departed, and a group of new "orphans" were tacked on in S11 just because otherwise there would be no plot whatsoever. Notably, all the early characters (Jessica Biel, Barry Watson, etc) who had moved on at various times throughout the series all returned for a heartwarming cameo in the Season 10 finale, yet were barely mentioned in S11.

Granted, one of the reasons we loved the show was that so many of the plot lines were pretty ridiculous, but S11 went so far past the mark that it barely even made sense. We pushed through and watched the whole thing (because hey, you don't slog through an entire series just to give up halfway through the last season) but if we ever sit down and watch again, we're just going to pretend that they didn't really make Season 11 and skip it.

We read a few articles online that Season 10 really was intended to be the last season, and it's very clear that the final episode that year was meant to be the series finale. I don't know how they talked Stephen Collins, Catherine Hicks, and Beverley Mitchell into coming back for this pointless farce, but most importantly - I don't know WHY.

While it was nice to see what happened to the characters we'd come to know and love for one more year, the crazy adding of so many new characters really detracted from the show. It's practically a new cast this year. Not to mention, if you're looking for something "realistic" to watch, this is not the show or season. It is common in this show for the least likely scenario to play out again and again and again. It's rather predictable.

There were things I liked about this season. It was nice to see the transformation that Lucy's character went through. I also liked to see how Ruthie's intelligence allowed for her to graduate early. I loved the character of Margaret -- quirky, funny, sweet, and weird.

Overall I am glad I finished watching the series, but I think I would have been just as happy for it to be over at season 10.

With prime, you can watch full seasons of 7th Heaven. I never saw the later shows and was glad to catch up on the shows, Even with new cast members, it still worth watching and seeing the kids all grown up.

I grew up watching 7th Heaven. I have watched every season from the very beginning, but I wasn't happy with the way it ended. I thought all the original 7th Heaven characters like Mary and Simon should have been included in the script for the last episode. I was bummed to see that they were left out of the entire season.
