Unless you're a serious Billy Joel fan, you probably haven't heard AND SO IT GOES, since it didn't get radio play. If you think you don't like Billy Joel, this song will stop you in your tracks. It exemplifies the musical and lyrical depth of this great singer-songwriter, who can be quite profound when he wants to. It's beautifully sung and played, with a simple, haunting arrangement. Others have covered it, but nobody does it better than the composer himself.
