5.0 out of 5 stars Folk Music Lives! November 28, 1998
Format:Audio CD
Gordon Bok, Ed Trickett and Anne Mayo Muir continue to keep our folk heritage alive with uniformly excellent collections of traditional and modern folk music. Two of the more outstanding selections on this CD are "Wild Birds" (a poignant ballad about life on the road) and "The Wreck of the Bay Rupert" (a lightheated tale about the perils of sailing on Hudson's bay).
Folk Legacy Records (Sharon, CT) have been working for years to keep folk music by these and other artists alive; many of the titles they publish are still not available on CD. Folk music enthusiasts take note!
