About the Author

David Icke, the author of eight books, tours the globe addressing increasingly larger audiences. Many have called him "the most controversial speaker in the world." David was born in Leicester, England in the United Kingdom. He started his career as a professional soccer player until 1973, at age 21, rheumatoid arthritis ended his career. He ventured into journalism and regional television until 1980, when he became a network television news and sports caster until 1990. An experienced environmental campaigner since 1982, Icke has a history of setting up environmental pressure groups. He became the National Spokesman for the British Green Party from 1988 until 1991. While working with the Green Party Icke started to research into issues such as Third World debt, its true causes, and how could be effectively resolved. Icke soon uncovered a disturbing pattern of events and exploitation that was to change the direction of his life forever. As his research progressed Icke left the Green Party and committed himself totally to his research. From 1991 until the present day Icke has become a man with mission. David Icke reveals some startling facts behind the people/events/organisations/ that have controlled and influenced our lives right up to the present day.

I have a favourite saying - 'Everything you know is wrong'.

Forget the 'news' reports focussing on Mr.Icke's sanity - once you've read what he has to say you'll realise why the controlled (& controlling) media, want his reputation ruined.

Those who argue "If what he says is true, he would have been bumped off by now" just don't get it. Character assassination is the weapon of choice.

Icke is a hugely courageous man.

David Icke has been researching the 'Illuminati' or 'enlightened ones' aka those with 'all the knowledge' for over 25 years now. These people are the same few that control all global events and the world money system. With this type of power, anything is, and has been possible.

Icke's research and references are solid. He doesn't make stories up, but rather puts together factual pieces of information and looks at similarities and starts building puzzles that become clearer and clearer.

Give this book a chance, if you are a skeptic or not, read it from cover to cover, then start criticising, this book one very well written, well researched text that will blow your mind and give you some real 'enlightenment'...

I am just going to keep this simple. I dont read many books because I find that so many "writers" are only following the latest trend and writing about how to make money when the only thing they make money on is a book that they paid someone else to write. David Icke doesn't try and preach to his readers. He has a style that will just blow you away with events that media has labeled "Conspiracy Theories".After checking for your self these events and theories start really coming together in really wierd ways and David Icke ties it ALL together with verifiable facts. These facts aren't a real big deal untill someone points out all of the very odd coincidences that link them together. David Icke is that person!!

I actually bought this book for my son, who has become inquisitive over seemingly uncontrolable and asinine world events. He began to question how things have become such a mess and what can be done to turn the tide. I've already read the book some years ago and this immediately came to mind when my son began asking these questions. My son is now twenty-two years old, in the Army, and stationed at present in Germany.
I recommend this book, as well as other David Icke books. The books are well written, interesting, and answer some of the nagging questions that haunt some of us who have pulled our heads out of the sand. Although some of the material is speculative, which I leave a reader to find which, time will tell whether the speculative material was objective or subjective. I highly recommend this book for inquisitive people.

I have to say that I found this in part the most boring book of David Icke's that I've read. But much essential information is revealed, and especially the first chapter and last two chapters (plus postscript) are admirable.

(I've no idea of when Icke was born, but he must have an immensely strong Saturn in his horoscope - and a Saturn-Mercury aspect - in order to master all these details.)

The first chapter reveals some interesting information about the "hijacking" of Planet Earth by extraterrestrial beings thousands of years ago. Throughout the book Icke calls the consciousness of these controlling beings "the Prison Warder consciousness". This takeover led to a "blocking, imprisoning vibration" which prevents us from accessing the higher levels of our consciousness, making us forget who we are. Today a few of us have managed to dissolve this blocking frequency, and even more will soon do the same during the present period of spiritual awakening.

In other chapters we're appraised of the engineering of both World Wars, light is shed on both Kennedy assassinations and on Clinton's involvement in all sorts of illegal and nefarious activities, including drug traficking.

Again and again we are shown how the same characters are involved in all the dark schemes. In fact it seems like ALL the politicians and leading figures of the last century formed part of the Illuminati. Also, there is an interesting chapter devoted to cults and how we are manipulated into forming our views on them, in fact manipulated into regarding certain organizations as cults when in fact they are not.

Neither are the bulk of New Age adherents spared the author's condemnation....

As I mentioned previously, the crowning work of the book is the last two chapters, where it is explained all about the "Great Transformation", as the author terms it, how all is not lost, but how essential it is for each one of us to break out of the control, and not be afraid to express our individuality and show who we really are. When we do this no-one or nothing can harm us.

In a fascinating postscript Icke describes an incident at a theatre where he sits next to Jimmy Carter and experiences the malevolent Prison Warder energy immersed in him. Finally by opening his heart and using the power of love Icke manages to shake off this horrific energy. A fascinating and enlightening experience.

I can recommend this book if you like me have perseverance enough (or a strong Saturn like Icke) to plough through endless details and long lists of names. The reward will be further understanding and enlightenment about the sorry state of affairs in the world, which "Truth" will help us to finally shake free of the Prison Warder Consciousness engulfing our planet. This was my fist David Icke book and certainly not my last! Facinating reading. It's interesting that intuitively, I know what he says is true. Perhaps the Universe in indeed folded inside of each of us. It's time for each of us to stop believing in the propaganda presented to us by the main stream media and listened to the real truth that is inside of each of us. PEACE!

David Icke gives you information you need to know. its not a question of fearing the truth. it is a question of what is our role to play in this lifetime. This is not material just to blow off, especially in the brain numbing reality show era we live in. Give icke a chance and understand how the man is trying to educate us. THE MAN SHOULD RECIEVE AN AWARD FOR THIS BOOK.
