A great comedy movie with so much subtle humor in the background that you can watch it umpteen times and still enjoy it more than the last time on...

This movie should not, under any circumstances be taken seriously. It's completely daft, utterly ridiculous and profoundly silly, but really good fun. If it doesn't make you laugh, I'll eat my hat! Songs are nice too; what more could you possibly want?! Just can't help myself--really like this movie. Even though a few of the jokes whizzed over my head as I'm not all that familiar with older Indian movies, I still really enjoyed it. It gets funnier the more times you watch it too, so good value for money!

this is one of the best comedies of the bollywood... salman and amir both rocks... i will give 10 of 10 to all the casts and story of the movie.

Even though Andaz Apna Apna has the same slapstick humor, impossible plot twists, and catchy tunes you find in so many Bollywood films, somehow it stands out from the rest. Great movie!

This is rapid-fire loony tunes humor at its most absurd--and I mean that in the best possible sense. Aamir's flawless comic timing and Salman's free-form goofiness are a killer combination. The entire supporting cast is first-rate, notably Paresh Rawal. Three of the four songs are reasonably catchy, while the other is high on the list of funniest musical sequences I've ever seen. Although the English subtitles don't do full justice to the dialog, the physical comedy, sight gags, and sound effects keep the scenes moving at full speed. You really have to see this movie to believe it, and it only gets funnier with repeated viewings.

It is hard to believe that any of the actors in Andaz apna apna still had a career after making this film. The production quality is poor. Acting is past melodramatic being somewhat like escaped mental patients. Much of the time the acting is like 9-year old children acting like adults pretending to be 9-year old children. We have watched over 50 Indian films and have around 30 films in our collection. Many of these films, that we love, have some silly scenes that are hard to watch but AAA is 100 percent made of silly scenes.

The song "Ye Lo Ye Lo", however, is completely wonderful. The clicking rhythm that drives this song is based on the hooves of trotting horses pulling 2-wheel carriages. The carriages roll through beautiful countryside much like the train in Dil Se (chaiya chaiya). Instead of dancing, Aamir and Raveena present choreographed expressions and antics that remarkably seem real and make this song a must see. The vocals in this beautiful song are sometimes eye-watering sweet.

For some reason AAA is a much loved Indian film. Maybe along the lines of Abbot and Costello, Laurel and Hardy, and Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis this movie is better than I think it is. It's only the beautiful "Ye Lo Ye Lo" that lifts AAA to a 3 for me.
