4.0 out of 5 stars Great with minor of flaws
Cliprs came not 000 gaped as advertised and it is diffcult to adjust to 000 yourself and still keep the blades straight. However once adjusted it works very well!!! So well in fact I didn't need my blading clippers anymore. Also you have to buy guards,a minor inconvenice. Overall great product!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed...
We previously owned a set of cheapo Conair clippers (which we probably purchased at Walmart or Target). When these began to get old, we looked at buying a new nicer clipper, as I have to cut my husband's hair once a week (military), and we also cut our boys' hair as well. These clippers worked fine, but as other reviewers said, they are heavy, and become unbearably hot...

This is a SUPERB piece of equipment! My fade has NEVER been this amazing, and I've been cutting my own hair for about ten years! This is well worth the 90 bucks you'll spend!

4.0 out of 5 stars OK for a year, November 19, 2011

This product is great but motor is too strong. It will churn through the guards and break them. Very hard to find the appropriate fitted guards.I think the appropriate guards have been discontinued.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed..., March 16, 2011

We previously owned a set of cheapo Conair clippers (which we probably purchased at Walmart or Target). When these began to get old, we looked at buying a new nicer clipper, as I have to cut my husband's hair once a week (military), and we also cut our boys' hair as well. These clippers worked fine, but as other reviewers said, they are heavy, and become unbearably hot to the touch after less than half an hour. My husband's haircut has to be perfect for his job, so basically if I don't get it right the first time, it's too bad because I can't even hold the clippers because they are so hot. Cutting all of the boys' hair in a row is pretty much a non-option. We noticed by the third or fourth haircut that one of the tiny metal teeth had already broken off (on the left edge), and we have no idea when or how, but we did not receive it broken. It is also impossible to completely 0 gap this (or whatever the correct term is) without cutting skin, so the bottom of my husband's head is never actually completely bald, which is USMC regulation. Now we have owned the clippers less than five months and last night they just suddenly died on us halfway through one of the boy's haircuts. We don't know why. We take very good care of them, clean and oil them regularly, store them in a hard plastic case, and we've never dropped or abused them in any way. All in all, our $30 Conair clippers did the same thing (albeit the quality IS lower), didn't get hot to the touch, and never actually broke on us. Wish I had returned them after the first haircut, when I noticed the heat issue, because since then, more and more things have gone wrong.

Horrible, I don't know why you allow this company to list items for sale through amazon. The clippers were defective. $100 of waste of money. Shame on you Amazon!

I received the andis master clippers and I was looking forward to receiving the clippers with excitement....but to my surprise when I received the clippers ...I was highly disappointed. The clippers did not work...and the cutting blade was not even working and the clippers were loud, and the blade was crooked. The excitement went out the door...I thought I was going to cut a really nice fade. I had to return this item back to get a refund.
