I manage a humane society for the last 20 years and have always wanted a portable, battery operated little clipper for quick fixes of knots or gum or bur removal. I'd give this a five star rating but the power fails every once in a while. (Even after changing battery.) NOT for someone who wants to do a whole groom job but decent for tiny jobs where you dont want to drag out the big clipper and find a plug in. Make sure you buy blade lube/cleaner and clean with toothbrush after each use. Store in a ziplock bag to prevent rust. For the price, I'm happy with this product.

I love the fact that this is cordless! It's super light & perfect for ears and around the eyes and around the pads of the feet. It takes only 2 AA batteries and there's no cord to worry about. It seems to go quite a while on a set of batteries, I haven't had to change mine yet.

It's like a cheap toy. It worked for about 10 minutes and then lost it's ability to cut. I think the blades are cheap and dull easily and the motor has no power. Spend your money on a good one if you want it to last. Very disappointed!

I got the clipper to trim a poodle's feet and face. It isn't strong enough to do the job properly.

Blade cut for about two minutes and then became duller and duller until it stopped cutting altogether. First time use !

I'm trying to slowly approach my dogs with this trimmer. I was hoping to use it on their toes and ears, and you get the idea. They just freak out and run whenever I come near them. No issue with the trimmer though. It seems like a good product. I do wish, however, that it was rechargeable.

This trimmer is perfect for small trimming applications, such as around toes and foot pads on dogs. I am using rechargable batteries that suit my needs very well; regular batteries would probably work well. The amount of charge is ample for my trimming needs and I have not run out of charge even when I have used the trimmer for what I would consider a long time.

There are more expensive and less expensive trimmers on the market. I consider this trimmer to be the best value for money after researching it before I purchased it and now with my regular use of the product.

Please don.t waste your money. This is a worthless item. Right out of the box, it is noisy, it wouldn't trim a few hairs around my dogs ears, small, light hairs..and it wouldn't budge through it. I cannot believe anyone could rate this higher than a 1 star, and should have an even lower rating. All I wanted to be able to do was trim the hair around my puppies ears, and pads, and this thing doesn't even budge through the hair! It is hardly worth the postage to send back, so I might just toss it in the trash. Really, really worthless!!!!!!

These trimmers work well to trim the face, ears and the foot pads. I don't think they would work if you tried to groom an entire dog with them. I think that they are a good value.
