We have two Springers that we shave down in the warm weather. Previously we had them groomed and paid the price. Our latest dog has separation anxiety and can't be caged at the groomer. We tried the "mobile van" groomer and that was great but expensive. My next try was DIY. I bought a "haircut kit" at the supermarket. After several hours the dogs looked presentable. The next season out comes the haircutter and even with lubrication of the blade, it was an ordeal. I repurchased a new cheap unit and it was the same result. This long preamble to my review is just the background on why I sprung for a pro unit.
I am so pleased with the performance of this tool. Both dogs were groomed painlessly and easily. It's a pretty long process but it became a nice bonding experience. Now the dogs are happy and the house and rugs have much less dog hair. An overall positive experience! Highly recommended.

I'm a professional groomer and my clippers get USED! The problem I was having with my other clippers is when they fell off my table they would break and I would have to purchase parts for it all the time. This clipper is very durable a little slower but gets the job done
