These are the best clippers on the market. Can adjust all the way to skin if needbe. They do not heat up to burn your scalp since they are ceramic. Very easy to clean. Very efficient cut. I use them once a week. Save money from going to the barber and get these today!

I bought these clippers not expecting much, considering i know a ton of other barbers and have never seen them use these. Man was i surprised, the rotary motor has tons of power, the blades get nearly as close as my t-outliners, neither the blades or casing have gotten hot on me.... I also let one of my fellow barbers try them, and he decided to order some the next day. IF you order guards(guide combs) order the Andis Nano Magnetic guide set ( Andis Magnetic Guide Comb Set ), they are much better than the black guard set that amazon may recommendAndis Improved Master Clipper Model No. 01380 - 7 Combs

These are really good clippers. I like em alot. cuts better, closer, and faster than speedmaster2s at the same price! And yes i have both. When i put a 7 guard(andis magnetic comb) on a speedmaster2, it doesnt cut as quick or powerful as the powerfades. but when i do the same thing with a 7 comb on a powerfade, it cuts hair easily. In a scenario where when its just the lever all the way pushed in and with no combs attatched, and i try to fade slowly, it pulls the hair and then cuts it. but when i go semi quick on the fade it wont pull. This for me is a big disappointment. just to let all you guys know, I've only had these for about 2-3 weeks and i always spray the andis 5 in one. I also always brush off the hair before i spray. I take very good care of my clippers

Pros
-Cuts nice, even, and effortlessly. Great for all around cutting when used any combs from a 0 guard to an 8 guard. good for fades and blends!
-Price
-rotary motor (its rotary! you dont need maintenance on it)
-nice long and sturdy cord

Cons
-kinda loud and it is louder than speedmaster2s but eh its no biggie. but in general its not really that loud
-They shud design the case a little bit better for guards. When having a clipper guard on and lever pushed all the way in, the bottom clip of the guard goes over the housing case. dont think this effects the cut (hopefully not) but it would be best when having a clipper guard on and lever pushed all the way in, the bottom of the comb attatchment should clear.
-not really a con but just wish the cord was swivel. but owells

Overall, i really like these alot. I am going to contact andis about the pulling hair aspect of this.

First I want to point out that I have owned many Whals a couple of other Andis clippers and one Oyster 76 clippers. This model (MBA) is very powerful not too loud and a clean smooth cut. I am in the military and cut alot of hair, and these clippers never gave me any issues at all. Out of all andis these are by far my favorite, the cord is nice and long and you can just feel the quality in your hand when your using them. I think the oysters are a little bit better quality but for the military haircuts such as fades, tapers, high and tight and the standard buzz cut I would choose the Andis powerfade clippers(MBA). I have done about 40 cuts with these already and I couldnt be happier. Now you should know this product does not come with any guards but if you want a nice set of guards andis has a magnetic comb attachment for this model, I highly recommend those to anyone, great guards on great clippers = very nice haircut. BUY THE CLIPPERS YOU WONT BE DISAPOINTEd

I dont not write product reviews unless I am very pleased or very disapointed. This product was definatly worth me writing this review

I can only compare these to the cheap clippers you can buy at walmart but these are much better. They have a thick power cord and overall feel better quality than what I am used to. I have thick hair and when I want to buzz it off these go right through it without a problem. My old clippers could not cut through 3+ inches of my hair at once. I would have to use attachements to gradually take it off. They are not on the same scale as what a barber uses but they probably cost less than 1/2 the price.
I just bought a pair of Oster fast feed clippers for $55 and while they cost a little more, my initial judgment is that they are worth it. They are quieter and appear to be better quality. The biggest difference is that the teeth are a lot smoother and I do not think they will pinch/scratch my scalp. This is an issue if you are cutting hair without attachments and just the blade as I often do. My biggest complaint with the Andis was that the teeth were sharp and pointed and easily scratched my head.
