This product is an excellent tool. It does a precision job and is easy to use. It is light and easy to handle. As with any hair trimming tool, you need to read the instructions carefully before using it the first time to avoid embarrassing bald spots. The guards are designed to work for most trimming lengths. It is true that you get what you pay for. The extra investment is worthwhile in the overall outcome.

I recommend this product. I replaced my cordless Wahl with this product. Unlike the Wahl, this trimmer has less gimickery and focused more on what I was shopping for--a precision cut. I would have given it 5 stars, but this product doesn't include a cleaning brush or onboard storage on the charging station for the various attachment combs. But again, the quality of the trimmer was more important to me than anything else. If you want an overall good trimmer, this is it. I'm very satisfied.

Alright so I had pretty high expectations for this cordless Andis model. I've great success using the corded Andis products with the T-blades, they all worked and achieved the desired results flawlessly. So I thought the results would be the same, but being cordless it would allow for travel and quick trims. But I was mistaken and have two main issues with this model. First, this model cannot hold a lasting charge. Its good to read that some users have success with charge lasting a while but for me it's terrible. I can use this for almost 30 minutes before it dies and I have to recharge it for the night. Second, it doesn't cut close to the skin. I guess this thing was not intended to get as close as the other corded models and probably used for more as a thicker hair even though it has a T-blade. On the plus side, the unit is constructed pretty well for a cordless and has good weight to it. It works well if your planning to use this as a beard / side trimmer and for longer hair. Also, I have not noticed overheating with this unit, although to be fair I don't use it for a long time (past 5-10 minutes). Overall, this does not even come close to the corded Andis models, hopefully you have better luck with yours.

I'm still searching for a dependable cordless trimmer. This is probably the fourth one I've tried. The battery life is horrible for such a large device, barely lasting 20 minutes on a full charge. It gave a decent shave, if not as close as I'd hoped. But it pulled and plucked on one week of beard growth. Weak. Then, as if to remove all doubts, it simply stopped working after a two uses. Garbage. I've used decent Andis products before and still have corded clippers that work. But this one was junk.

Blades got very, very warm after only 5-6 mins of use ( So warm I couldn't touch my skin with it). Although I charged it the prescribed amount of time, it still acted if it wasn't fully charged. This was evident in it ebbing and flowing, resulting in a not so pleasing trim. Kind of surprised that a product with Andis name on it would perform on such a low level. So low, in fact, I'm gonna try and return this sucker to Amazon, though I know I won't have much success without the box.
