Pet hair clippers run hot in a very short time. If I had known that I would no have purchased them. There was nothing in the reviews that said they ran hot. I am not to satisfied but that comes under buyer beware.

I am a licensed pet groomer but do not work as one now because I decided to stay home with my first baby. Andis is the brand I always pick. I gave this product 3 stars because It is a nice light weight but powerful clipper. I use this one at home to shave my Queensland/border collie mix. I can shave the whole dog and my clippers leave a nice even cut and they don't get hot like mentioned on another review here. I wouldn't suggest this model if you need to clip multiple large breed one after another but works well if you are looking for something that is not to expensive I say give these a shot.

I bought this kit because I liked the ideal of changing blades not attachments. Big mistake - these have to be the noisiest clippers I have ever owned. The noise is loud to the point that it frightens my dog. I cannot recommend these even for touchups.
