This is a large hardcover, although most prints are shown two to three on a page. Quality is excellent, and there is a great amount of writing detailing Kertesz. Can't imagine there is a better all-in-one book on this great photographer.

Like someone else commented, it'd be hard to imagine a more inclusive overview of Andre Kertesz' photography. The text is informative, the pictures well printed. Some are indeed small but that doesn't bother me a bit. Good addition to anyone's photography bookshelf.

I was really disappointed. The reproductions are not just greenish but full green. Why? Where they green when Kertesz made them? Those which are not green are cyan and just a few tends to be more or less neutral. Can you understand it? The design is awkward, it doesn't make use of the real state of the white page, because in many cases the margins are bigger than the pictures. Sometime the reproductions are just 2 x 3 cm swimming like an insect in a big white page and unfortunately many are that tiny size. Take the example of the polaroids, they are so little that's much better to look at them in internet.

I have not read it so far, because there are full of texts (it's a French book), I hope I can say something about it sometime later.

Wonderful edition! Great balance between written material about Kertesz and his photos. Although, lots of photos in the book are quite small((
