I was truly expecting just another lame cop sit com when I saw the preview for Brooklyn Nine-Nine. However, I was beyond thrilled to find that not only was it not a lame cop sit com, but it was actually very funny. This show is more like a satire crime show than anything else, but doesn't go so far as to blatantly throw shade at either police officers or crime dramas. The writing is perfect and colloquial, the characters are interesting and I can't wait for the rest of the season, I think this show could possibly fill the 30 Rock shaped hole in my heart! To sum up, Andy Samberg has created something wonderful.

I've been watching this show since it came out and it has got to be the best comedy TV show out there right now. All of the actors/characters meld so well in each episode and the writing is top notch. It's refreshing to see a TV series that hits all the right notes. Not every episode is perfect, but even my least favorite is funny and worth watching. It's a great workplace comedy and I always recommend it to everyone.

Genuinely funny, toys with cop show stereotypes but doesn't fall into them, plenty of engaging interpersonal dynamics. The murder investigation in this episode is mostly a vehicle to show that the main character is extremely talented, but I don't mind that in a pilot. It looks like each character is going to get interesting back story and moments in the spotlight. Diverse cast in a satisfying way. Can't wait to see more!

Easily the best new comedy on tv and quickly becoming one of my favorite shows. It really reminds me of the first seasons of The Office but in a police station which sounds like a strange idea but it works perfect. The first season was great especially seeing Peralta (Andy Samberg) and Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) interact and become closer. Joe Lo Truglio is awesome as Boyle giving some truly hilarious lines throughout each episode as does Terry Crews who's basically playing himself it seems. Honestly the whole case is pretty amazing and everyone usually gets there time to shine. Definitely will be recommending this show to everyone.

Honestly, I did not expect to like this show, at all. I think Andy Samberg can do some good stuff in The Lonely Island, but as far as a comedic actor, I always kinda pegged him as this decade's Jamie Kennedy (who himself is the 2000's Pauly Shore). And with lots of other GARBAGE on network TV, like "Dads," "The Millers," every other CBS sitcom, and everything on NBC altogether, I thought "Brooklyn Nine Nine" was going to be another cliched show like all of them. After all, how many shows on network TV don't involve cops, doctors, or lawyers nowadays?

However, the show is sharp, quick witted, has amazing pacing, and is legitimately funny. Its the total opposite of "Sean Saves The World" or "Dads." I haven't instantly fallen for a show like this since "Community" in 2009. And if you do love Community, chances are you'll love this, too.

To be honest, I didn't give a chance until the sixth episode. Fortunately we can now watch everything online nowadays. I'm so glad I caught this before it might've gotten canceled. In fact, its gotten a full season order!

The show has a great ensemble cast which clearly work well off of each other. Andy Samberg is actually the least funny or interesting character on the show. The show works because all the characters are likeable and each funny or charming in their own unique way. And while they fit some archetypes, they are mostly well fleshed out (well, for a comedy, anyway) and don't become totally predictable.

Santiago is the cute and perky overachiever and little sister type cast member.

Boyle is kind of the lovable loser and slightly masculine guy of the show who can't get a date and has a crush on Rosa Diaz.
