It actually arrived early. I didn't read it, I gave it away as a gift. Hopefully they will like it.

More About the Author

Laura Hoptman is a curator of contemporary art at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. She has curated over thirty exhibitions nationally and abroad including surveys of the work of Yayoi Kusama, Robert Crumb, Brion Gysin, Isa Genzken, Elizabeth Peyton, Tomma Abts, and George Condo. Her large thematic exhibitions, including Drawing Now: Eight Propositions, Unmonumental: The Object in the 21rst Century, and The Forever Now: Contemporary Art in An Atemporal World have introduced provocative and much discussed ideas that help to characterize contemporary art over the past 20 years and situate it in the context of the history of art.
