Product Description

Amazon.com Review

Made of durable yet flexible vinyl, the two-tube sprinkler is easy to contour around garden beds and varied terrain. The end clip can be removed and reset, allowing you to adjust the hose length either permanently or temporarily. And, because the hose lies flat, you can point the holes up for a gentle spray or down for a slow soak. Guaranteed for five years.

Product Description

Double tube construction with holes pierced on one side

4.0 out of 5 stars Gentle, deep watering, August 8, 2009
By

This review is from: Andrews 100-Foot 2 Tube Sprinkler Hose 10-12349 (Lawn & Patio)
I've used Andrews 2-tube sprinkler hoses on my lawn for fifteen years. They provide the perfect kind of gentle, deep watering that I prefer. They help me have a lush green lawn, even though its just ordinary bermuda grass, and even though I only water once every two weeks! I let the hose sprinkle gently for about two hours on each area of my lawn, then shift it to another--it does take a few minutes setting up and adjusting the water pressure to give just the coverage I want, but since I don't have an inground sprinkler system, this works best for me. I store the hose on a cord reel (the kind made for 100 feet of heavy-duty extension cords), so it's a simple matter of reeling it out across the area I want to water, then reeling it up again when I'm done--keeps it neat and free of kinks ... plus, it keeps it out of the "hands" of the raccoons, who used to chew it to pieces before I came up with the idea of using the cord reel. Nowadays, my lawn looks better than my neighbor's with their inground sprinklers and timer who water every day for 15 minutes--no work for them, but their lawn is shallow-rooted, sparse, and pale compared to mine.

5.0 out of 5 stars easy-to-use sprinkler hose, June 18, 2007
By
Angela (New Jersey) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Andrews 100-Foot 2 Tube Sprinkler Hose 10-12349 (Lawn & Patio)
This sprinkler hose is extremely easy to use and functions exactly as described. The only possible problem which I see is that the holes go all the way to the faucet connection. This may be problematic since water can seep into your home's foundation. I purchased a 10 ft. extender hose to solve the problem.

1.0 out of 5 stars P.O.S., July 24, 2007

Portland Gardener (Portland, OR United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Andrews 100-Foot 2 Tube Sprinkler Hose 10-12349 (Lawn & Patio)
I suppose this sprinkler hose would be OK if it is always left in one place, but I had several duties in mind for it.
While the amount of spray was just perfect for the parking strips that I used it for the most, I came to dread setting it up because it is so cheap and flimsy it would very easily get into nightmarish twists. I would end up wasting a great deal of time untwisting it. I found that it is easiest way to get it untwisted was to turn the water on and just get soaking wet, but save time. Upon about the 10th use a rose thorn slashed it and it was kaput.
