4.0 out of 5 stars The Lion and the Loincloth, March 29, 2011
This review is from: Androcles and the Lion (Paperback)
Love the story, but Androcles wears nothing but a loincloth throughout.

He's not wearing much more than Adam Rex's "Dirty Cowboy" but the book is much less hilarious.

Near-nudity in children's books... awesome oppotunity for humor. Anyway, since we all expected Androcles to go Full Monty before the end, it was a bit of a letdown that the loincloth stayed up. When you start with a loincloth and grade-school-aged boys, you just expect to giggle.
