This is an amazing first album! I can't even think of what to compare it to, because it is so unique. Buy it. Bug your local radio stations to play it, and if you are lucky enough to catch them in your town you have to see them live. (Right now they are touring New England.) I was fortunate enough to see them at the Mercury Lounge in NYC and was totally blown away. Dave Ireland has the most compelling and sexy stage presence, Kai Lemke is one of the most amazing bass players in existance, and Rueben Alexander is one with his drums; truly gifted and a cutie to boot. This is a "must" have album destined to be a classic.

This is one the best bands I have ever heard. This album gets better with time.The more you hear it the more you will love it.If you had a chance to hear this band live, you are a very lucky person. This band not making it was the biggest travesty in the music business. The problem was they didn't fit in to a neat category . Every song doesn't sound they same. Most people find this very hard to digest in this limited attention span world we live in now. I think most of the great bands of the last century

would have never made it, in today's music world. If you don't sound like everyone else, you don't have a chance. Check this this album out, play it more than once and you will be telling all you friends about this great band. Too bad most of these guys seem to have disappeared. That is the shame as you will want more once you hear it.

I bought this CD in May, 2002 after hearing "Free Child" on the radio. The song was simply amazing! It stood out from all the play it safe stuff that's being released. However, if you expect the songs to be similar to "Free Child", you will be disappointed. There is great variety on this CD. From hard and fast to soft and relaxing and in between. If you were a fan of 80's metal, I think you'll dig this (Especially the 1st song). Dave Ireland has a great expressive voice and the rest of the band is top notch as well.

After hearing a song passed on by a friend, I fell in love.

The album is a surprising mix of songs from the erongeus "one Night Stand"

to songs like "Rust" and "Free Child" expressing an inward journey of the soul to find one's true self.

Dave Ireland as MusT's lead singer is a most remarkable talent, with a voice that captures your attention and then your soul, his vocal range is phenomenal leaving you wanting more.

I love this CD, buy it, listen to it and enjoy it.

This is just one of those albums that gets better every time I listen to it. I was never fortunate enough to see them live, even though I lived in Providence, RI during their tenure. MusT is one of the most underated prog-rock bands ever. Hell they ARE THE MOST UNDERATED ROCK BAND EVER! Any body who is a fan of rock and roll needs to own this record!!! Anyone who is "new" to rock music needs to own this record!!! Any body who owns this must share this with (or buy it for) their freinds, family and any person who will take the time to listen! It has such amazing range and depth, it's a crying shame that they don't have more for us. Oh well, I guess it's just one of those crazy once in a life time deals. Pity...

great album!!! so many great and varied songs on here! if you were lucky enough to live in the Boston area at the time, and witnessed their amazing live show, you *must* agree we lost out when they left! a songwriter with something to say...a live show that gets you movin'...talented musicians!!!

"Rust" and "Moving On" clearly the best tracks..."One Night Stand" also good (better live).

Fantastic lyrics, absolutely amazing vocals, a myriad of guitar riffs that keep you listening for more. A MusT have masterpiece for the connoisseur. Once you're hooked, there's No Way Out. Listen with the headphones on ~ cranked ~ you'll hear even more. Amazing live performers ~ unfortunate for those who never got to see them live ~ and heartbreaking for those of us who didn't get to see them enough. I know what I'm giving for Christmas this year ~

Picked this CD up pretty much on accident because of a deal going on where I work. Anway, popped it in not expecting anything great. Boy was I surprised. Amazing melodies, lyrics, overall great songs. I'd have to say Rust is one of my all time favorite songs now, from any group. Must is a lost treasure.

this my favorite cd. as great as this cd is, they were even better live. breaks my heart they disbanded. hope they make more music soon. miss them terribly. Dave Irelands voice is special. good luck to whatever path they walk down. moving on

quite simply, this album is one of the best i own. if you enjoy any form of rock music, this one has to become part of your collection.

the band have now disbanded which means you must treasure their work even more. to sell it even more, i saw them live and they were f**king awesome!

don't believe what you hear from previous reviewers about 'freechild' being the only good track on this album. anyone who says this has not seen them live OR played the album loud enough. 'one night stand', 'heartbreaker', 'rust' and 'i'll find what i've been seeking' are just as good in strikingly different ways.

it'll take a long time for any band to have such an impact on me with just 11 songs...
