Open Maps and touch the 3 lines in the upper left (or the menu button). Go to Settings and touch Map History. It looks like you can delete them one at a time only. I use an app Ccleaner by Piriform which allows you to delete Maps History.
Some people say that a factory reset should not affect calling ability, but I've read here on Amazon at least 5 people whose phones couldn't make/receive calls after a factory reset. It may be a quirk in the Valet, or may be not. But do it as the last resort and be prepared to spend hours on the phone with Tracfone support to get your phone working again after a reset.
Touch the "phone" icon to go into phone mode, then touch the Menu button in the lower right corner of the phone, then Settings to go to Call settings. Select Voicemail-->Setup, then edit the Voicemail number to include the automated PIN (see below).
Let's say your PIN is 5678. You need to edit the Voicemail phone number to become *86,5678#. There's a special keypad that shows up when you're entering phone number for contacts. To enter *, press the '*#' key first then press *. The ',' is entered by pressing Pause. Don't forget to enter the # after your PIN.
With this setup, you can call Voicemail effortlessly by holding down the "1" key on the keypad. It'll call Voicemail, pause for the prompt, then sends the PIN. I've tested it and it works pretty slick.
It is a notification light that you missed a call or message. If you don't want it, go to Settings, Display and uncheck the "Notification setting box".
You can see what the notification was if you place your finger on the top of the screen and slide downward, keeping your finger on the screen.
