I bought this cd a couple of years ago...It has changed my life. His music is inspirational! Andru, please keep recording! It has become a bridge my love and I have. Have listened to it thousands of times and never tire of his voice and rhythms. Friends that listen are instantly hooked. Truly a must have! More albums please Andru! -Michelle

I LOVED THE SONG "MISHALE" SOOO MUCH THAT MY HUSBAND AND I NAMED OUR DAUGHTER MISHALE ELISE!

Andru Donalds has one of those sweet tenors you might expect to hear in a "boy band", but that's not meant as an insult. He uses his voice to great effect throughout this album, which is well-produced, with excellent musicianship and strong songwriting. It's a soulful pop-rock effort without a weak track in the bunch. He reminds me of Ben Harper or Jeffrey Gaines, but with more of a pop than a rock sensibility. I found this in a record bin for twenty-five cents (!), and remembering how much I had liked "Mishale", I took a chance. (Here, it gets a reggae-style mix, which works pretty well.) This is an album that came and went under the radar, and deserved a much better fate than the cutout graveyard. Probably the best quarter I've spent in a long, long time.

I enjoyed all the songs, it puts me in a state of well being.
Open space and relaxed. I play this album like this is the only one I have. I would give a 10 out of 10 rating. Please continue with your music.

This song:Michale changed my life. I smiled with it, cried with it and was haooy with it.

I bought this CD over 7 years ago after I heard the song Mishale on an underground university radio station. Let me tell you. This guy has a super voice and the songs on this album are fresh and alive. With the right mix of instruments from guitar to keyboards, this CD has not one weak song. I do not understand how this guy is not more famous. I listen to this CD over and over while driving on long trips and it inspires me as a musician. Get it!

Caught Andru Donalds' performance of "Mishale" as he promoted this album on local Miami TV in 1994. Was haunted. It has become a deeply treasured favorite, thanks to Donalds' flawless vocals, subdued passion, and lack of pretense or predictability. Plus, for some reason this album seems to resurface in my life at moments of personal evolution; wish I could explain that bit of magic.

...I loved every song on the cd. The cd helped me in a time of need. I really liked this girl in highschool and "mishale" put my feelings in perspective and made them tangable. It is now 9 years past, and me and that girl are not together but i still listen to the cd.. Believe me this cd will help you with any girl. Just listen to the songs and let your emotions in your heart live what Andru is saying. Let your imagination take over. Highly recommended....

A truly remarkable album. I can listen to and enjoy every track on the album. Donalds has a remarkable voice that comes along very rarely. You can choose to listen actively to this album, or leave it in the background ... sort of like Roxy Music's Avalon, tho' the styles are totally different.
Bottom line -- if you like any pop, soul, R&B or funk music released in the last 35 years, you will enjoy this album.

I was bought this album on tape by a a holiday romance,I loved it then and treasured it, then I lost the tape and have been trying to find it for years as deleted.
Thankyou Amazon.com for bringing back those happy memories of sunny days and happiness that this album bought me.
