Good review for the orals! I think it needs some improvments though! Misses on some main topics too! Don't expect details on how much doses you give in this emergency or that.. So some lack of details too.. But good over all.. I would recommend a better written books over it like Faust! Or a Co-existing Diseases handbook!

Without a doubt, the most succint and topical board review book out there. Case type reviews prep for the real thing. The book brought together all the esoteric concepts i read into concrete examples that were just like the cases i experienced during my boards.

As other users have opined, this book is a useful PART of your oral board study. Concise and usable reviews of relevant clinical topics. Alongside _Anesthesia and Coexisting Disease_ by Stoelting Stoelting's Anesthesia and Co-Existing Disease: Expert Consult: Online and Print (Expert Consult Title: Online + Print), your choice of MillerMiller's Anesthesia: Expert Consult Premium Edition - Enhanced Online Features and Print, 2-Volume Set or Barash Clinical Anesthesia (Clinical Anesthesia (Barash)), and PLENTY of practice/mock exams with peers and senior anesthesiologists, this book will help you prepare confidently.

This book is not all inclusive but it is a good quick review. The topics that it does cover are in bulletpoint format which is great for right before the test. I used this 2 weeks before the April 2011 test and was happy with my results.
The best study material is still doing mock orals with your friends!

If you only buy one book for oral boards this is the one. Thorough and detailed while simultaneously succinct. Great even for written boards. A must have. Would buy again.
