I would not trust anything this man wrote. Sharpe is well known as one of charlatans trying to psychopathologize ME (myalgic encephalomyelitis; aka CFIDS/CFS). He writes of ME (CFS) as neurasthenia. He characterizes it as basically a somatoform disorder with AIB around inappropriate exercise avoidance. Patently false. There have been over 4,000 articles is peer reviewed medical journals showing frank biological pathology in ME.
