Angel in the Alley hooked me from the start and didn't let go until the end.
The "good guys" were flawed, frail, with complex personal problems. Their faith, although sometimes shaken by the problems they faced, seemed believable and real. The book had grit and didn't shy away from describing the more base emotions experienced by humans and the plot, set in the near future, not much further along the societal and environmental paths of today, was a realistic connecting of biblical prophesy with what we see unfolding before our very eyes. |
