When one of my dearly loved dogs died of cancer a month ago, I picked up a copy of Angel Animals and turned right to Part Three: "What angel animals teach us about death, dying and the afterlife". Not only was the part about grieving so helpful, but then there were stories of messages from heaven, and stories about pets reincarnating. It took me beyond pet loss bereavement and opened up all the spiritual wonders of which our pets and animals have tried to show us since they entered our lives - mainly love never dies! I love the quotes at the beginning of each chapter and the contemplative exercises with each story, inviting us to look at life a new way - a way that an angel animal has pointed us to by their loving and divine natures. If you love animals or nature in any capacity, this book will prove how many of us are out there who see how vital this spiritual connection to animals is to our well being in everyday life. The stories are just fantastic, all from different people and about different animals! Love and thanks to the Andersons who wrote and compiled the book.

We really get an opportunity to get a deeper understanding out of our relationships with animals. What makes this compilation of stories unique are the thought provoking questions placed at the end of the chapters, helping the reader to relate the story to an area of their life. No matter how many times I read any one of the questions, I always get a very helpful answer to a situation in my life. As others have said, this is a must read for all animal lovers! It is great to see more credit given to these beings that are doing so much for all of life.

OK, I'm a contributer to the book. So you might think I'd be biased. But this is one of the best feel-good experiences you will ever enjoy. Trust me, and read about the trust and communication we can all share with the little angels that share our lives. You will not regret the time spent and will return time and time again.

If you want to take time and reflect on your love bond withanimals then this book is for you. I love the animal stories so muchthat I can only hope Allen and Linda Anderson will write many more books about our spiritual bond with animals... It was nice to read that the authors give all of their income from the book to the Angel Animals Educational Foundation. They are serious about their goals of changing attitudes toward animals via sharing their stories. It makes me want to help in some small way. Wonderful book and great web site!

A great read with valuable insights into our relationships with all life. I love the "food for thought" at the end of each story - terrific reminders of how a small kindness or lesson coming from any source, can transform our lives. As an animal owner it has opened the door for me to look deeper at the relationships I share with all my own animal family and other animals we encounter. I've especially enjoyed reading the stories to my nieces and nephews and sharing with them how we can learn about love from all of life.

I have never read a book that was so touching to my heart as Angel Animals. Having animals most of my life, I missed a lot of clues that they gave me. This book reminded me of the wonderful times I had with my dogs, cats, birds, etc. I have recommended this book to everyone I know.

As one of the contributors to this book (see "A Cat Let Me Know That Love Lives"), I am thrilled to be part of such a spiritual project. So many wonder when their pets pass over if they have souls. Are their lives ended at the time of death? I think you will be greatly comforted to know that our beloved pets do have an after life, and do contact us! There truly is a spiritual connection with them, which we can benefit from right here and right now. I feel honored to be able to share this with you and bring you comfort

Man is dog's best friend -- This book is a must for all lovers of animals and for those who enjoy good stories with a message for today. We need to focus on loving unconditionally, whether a family member, or a family pet, as well as to develop compassion, courage and patience.
