Reading Jeri Cain Rossi's collection of short stories on the lives of the dark and the damned is like walking down the corridor of some seedy hotel and catching glimpses of the guests as they battle with themselves and each other and try to make sense of the pain and despair of everyday life. Buy this book and be grateful you are just passing through.
