More About the Author
But that quickly changed when I began reading mysteries and romance!
I'm not sure if it was from my teacher's words or just my imagination, but for years a scene played in my mind--like a movie. Finally, one day, I sat and wrote it down. And the floodgates on my imagination opened. Before I knew what a critique partner was, I'd written four books (I use the word "written" very loosely, they needed a tremendous amount of work).
I never planned it, never dreamed about it, never expected to get such joy from it, but writing has become a vital part of my life.

Summer's admirable outlook, despite one setback after another, give us another strong heroine to root for and cheer once she finally finds her slice of happiness.
What a terrific series Ms. St. John has penned. I enjoyed all the books.
The free PDF Prologue VIOLET EYED ANGEL (available from Ms St. John's website [...]) details FBI undercover agent Roy Hansen and Summer Snow's first meeting twenty years ago. Even without reading that prologue, you know when they meet again that encounter formed a remarkable bond.
Problem is the years in between changed them. Summer's now a widow afraid to love while retired Roy is ready for all the things his life as an undercover agent lacked. Things like a home where he can sleep in the same bed night after night, a wife, kids, and family around. All the things Summer has to offer if he can convince her. But Roy can't talk about his past or what he's doing to protect her and her kids from those who have tracked him down for revenge.
With her gift for blending just the right amount of suspense and romance, Ms St. John keeps you guessing until the last page whether Roy and Summer will have the happy ending they should or Roy's past will tear them apart. It's a great read!
Roy and Summer are both strong characters, but I really love Roy! I love that he gets a second chance at the angel he's carried with him in his mind. Very romantic story with the intense action you expect from Tess St. John. Buy this book!
the characters as well as touching base with the characters from the
