4.0 out of 5 stars Marvelous Title Tune...
My wife and I just finished watching this film on DVD, and were simply blown away by the title tune! The melody kind of floats in your mind, like one of Roy Orbison's songs. The song that opens the film is a good one as well, and the trumpet/flute duet version of "Nature Boy" was very nice. I may buy this one just for "Angel Eyes"...

3.0 out of 5 stars The song Jim Plays
The song that jim plays IS Nature Boy by Jon Hassell with Ronu Majumdar as it is on the Soundtrack. If your trying to find it off the soundtrack, theres a couple different versions by him so you'll have to weed through them. I finally found it after about 2 hours of searching..

The song that Jim played is Nature Boy. Various artists have done their own renditions of this tune.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good stuff:, May 26, 2001

I have to admit the only reason I went to this film or got this soundtrack was for Steve Holy's tune "Good Morning Beautiful." I have loved this tune since day one and I am glad it made it on a major film's soundtrack. The movie was good. Lopez is a fine actress and I enjoyed the story line very much. The soundtrack is also good. Besides Steve's gem there are some other good tunes. Tamara Walker's title cut is very nice and I love Etta James' "Only Time Will Tell." After all is said and done, the film and the soundtrack are "pretty good stuff."

4.0 out of 5 stars The song they were dancing to, August 12, 2004

I think the song you were thinking of is "In a sentimental mood" by Duke Ellington and John Coltrane. I wish they would have put that on the soundtrack! Hope this helps.

J-Lo & Jim Caviezel danced to "In a Sentimental Mood" by Duke Ellington, then Jim played "If I Should Lose You" by Nina Simone.

I think that the tunes that they (J-Lo and 'that guy') danced to was "In A Sentimental Mood" by Duke Ellington, and the ones that 'that guy' played was "If I Should Lose You" by Nina Simone. I hope this can help.

The Jazz tune from the movie is "Nature Boy" but it is very similar to "If I should lose you" by Nina Simone...it was extrememly familiar to me as well, and leaving it out was a big mistake, but the cd is still great!

5.0 out of 5 stars Suspense and Love, October 27, 2003
This review is from: Angel Eyes (Audio CD)
When viewing the movie, you must keep an open mind and don't drift away. The CD however, is truly a work of art. You have country, soft rock, classical, musical instruments, and in general a whole lot of wonderful music. Angel eyes is an instrumental that draws you into the CD. Steve Holy's song is captivating when you look at that one true person lying next to you and tell them, Good Morning, beautiful! Ever since my husband heard the song, that is what he says to me. Buy the CD. It is a great combination of truly gifted and talented musicians, song writers and singers.
