Angel Gabriel A true story is a factual account of how one of God's heavenly angels named Gabriel came to me in January of 1997 after a tragic plain crash in the little town of Ida, Michigan in Monroe county, in which 29 people were killed. I had been praying for everyone that was involved in the incident from the victims and their families to the rescuers battling the blizzardous conditions. When an angel named Gabriel came to me and showed me a great deal over two nights and instructed me to make a statue of him and then give it to the Firefighters. I had no idea on how this was going to be accomplished, but just as Gabriel had told me it was all taken care of. My book tell of everything that Gabriel showed me and how he guided people into my life's path to do this job for him that still contiues to this day. And this book also reveals my fears that I was losing my mind because I was sure that I could never be one chosen by God to do something so wonderful that would change people's way of thinking and maybe even their lives. By reading this book you will find out just how much God and his messengers do infleuence our lives and how we follow the path that is laid out for us even when we don't know it.

About the Author
My name is Joy LaPlante, I was raised in a small town in Michigan. I have a wonderful husband and 4 beautiful children. We live on a horse farm and raise race horses. My mother raised us in believing in God. But we did not belong to any one church. Mom always told us that we could get baptized when we were old enought to choose what religion we wanted to be. In 1992 I chose to be Catholic. I was taught when I was younger that there were angels. My grandmother had a picture of a lady angel that was watching over two little children walking across a broken bridge. I loved this picture. But I had always thought that angels were for special people and I didn't feel that I was special enough for God to give me one of my own. Or maybe, I felt that I wasn't going to walk across any broken bridges and didn't really need one. But, I now know, that life is a broken bridge, and God has given everyone of us an angel of our own. To watch over us so we will not fall through the broken bridges of life. I don't know why, God and Gabriel choose me to do this wonderful thing for them. But, I feel honored that they did. People ask me how do I know what path to choose when things come up in my life. My answer is the one that is in front of me. Remember, even if things look impossible. They are not. God will always put people in our path to take us to the next passage of our destiny.

Angel Gabriel a true story is a wonderfull book. I couldn't put it down. I still have goosebumps. I am going to read it again. This book touched my soul. I think everyone that has lost a family member or is scared of dieing should read this. You no longer will be. If everyone could see what Gabriel showed Joy, this world would be a much happier place. And I just want to add one thing more. I would like to thank all of the firemen of the world for being earthly guardian angels. Thank you Joy for not being afraid to share your beautiful story and angel Gabriel with us all.

It's a real tear-jerker. I still can't believe that it is a true story. My parents are good friends with Joy and her husband, so they know a little about Gabriel. You should really get this book, Christian or not. It's a great story to read over and over again!

Angel Gabriel: A True Story comes across as if it was written from the heart. I can't help but feel that Joy LaPlante really did experience the amazing things she writes about. I have thoroughly enjoyed the book.
