I had an ancestor on the Angel Gabriel, and it was great to read about the ship, the voyage, and the wreck from a scholarly point of view. Speculation was clearly noted as such, and the book was as much researched fact as possible. Also noted when family oral history could not be verified. Highly recommend BUT, the list price for this small paperback is $15.00. I am horrified to see prices of $35-190 on amazon. It is a nice book, but not that nice.
