5.0 out of 5 stars Love the button cover!

2.0 out of 5 stars Hard to remove
This would work better with a seat belt release button on the side than the seat belt release button on the top. To get my finger up to the release button, I had to bend the Angel Guard so much that it shattered into pieces.

My son is 10 and has a diagnosis of Autism. He doesn't understand the importance of keeping his seatbelt on in the car and finds it stimulating to unclick his seat belt while in the car. We purchased the Angel Guard Seat Belt Button Cover and it has been an answer to our prayers in the car. He cannot push the seatbelt button to unbuckle anymore. Dad and I are able to remove the cover without any problem when getting him out of the car. We were worried about this in case there was an emergency. It is easy enough for us to remove, but our son is unable to remove it himself. Great purchase!

This definitely keeps my 5 year old from unbuckling herself. The only thing is it was extremely hard to unbuckle according to package directions. However I saw a different product which said to push your car key down the slot to unbuckle and that works beautifully.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, September 8, 2010

I bought this product after doing a lot of research for a seat belt button cover. At first it is very hard to remove, but once you figure out the trick it is very easy to use. I found that if you push from the bottom right corner, the Angel Guard is very easy to remove from the seat belt. I would recommend this to anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little invention!, August 17, 2010

My 2yr old is (obviously) still in a carseat and she likes to reach down and play with the seat belt buckle. There were also several occasions when her older sister and brother accidently hit the wrong buckle button while undoing the their own seatbelt next to the carseat. This button guard prevents that from happening. I read some of the fewer-starred reviews and I'm not sure why it was reportedly difficult to get on and off. I don't have any trouble with that myself, even though it does foil the escape attempts made by my toddler. I wish I'd found this item when my other kids were little!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great!, August 18, 2011
This review is from: Angel Guard Car Seat Button Cover 2 Pack (Baby Product)
My daughter with Angelman syndrome loves to play with the seat belt release, and this guard works great keeping her buckled. At first it seemed hard to remove, but after practicing a few times following the direction, we have no trouble removing it. For the last couple of years that my daughter has figured out on how to release the seat belt, my husband and I had to take turns sitting with her in the back seat to make sure that she does not release her seat belt. We now can finally enjoy sitting next to each other in the front row! Thank you for the smart design!

works good. My 3 year old can't undo the latch with it on, but he has figured out how to crawl under the seat belts to get out.

3.0 out of 5 stars Does What It's Supposed To Do, January 1, 2012

The covers do what they are designed to do. They seem a little hard to remove from the seat belt, but once you get the hang of it, that is not a problem. I bought the covers in an attempt to keep my autistic grandson in his seatbelt. He is too big for a child safety seat. He was not able to unlatch the seat belt, but wiggles his way out from under the belt inspite of the button cover and the fact that the belt was in safety seat mode so he could not lean forward.

My 6 y/o is able to take this off in seconds, much faster then I can. We have a 2005 Nissan Quest. It was just not worth it. Hoping the other locks on the market work. (she is autistic and also able to get out of a 5 point harness)
