I read this all the way to page 117, so it's not that I didn't give this book a chance. I don't see a point in making myself read anymore in this book when I'm just not enjoying it.
This book is just a bunch of stories people from around the world sent into Jacky Newcomb. Jacky didn't meet with these families in person and get her own feel on the situation at hand. She simply took peoples words as the truth and put them in her book.
There were some stories that could definantly just be the product of a childs overactive imagination. Jacky took those very explainable stories and tried to make them into something supernatural. I'm not a skeptic, but there are several stories in this book that make me skeptical.
The one thing that makes me glad I read some of this book was that I got to find out about Akiane Kramarik a Child Prodigy! She claims that God told her to paint and she gets visions and paints them. Her work is some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. You can check her out on youtube!
