First off....I LOVE THIS SONG! I heard it on the radio years ago and still listen to it this very day. It's just That timeless. It turns out from reading other reviewers there is an original version by a group called Eternal but I have not heard it and don't intend to because Monica's voice is so cool and she has a really good image, period. After all she did finish college and has positive messages especially on her "First Night So So Def remix." JD always does a great job at re-mixing. I just don't know what catagory of music I would put this in...it seems like a mixture of Pop, Country and R&B. There is a mixture of verses and "bridges" which makes "Angel of Mine" not your typical Pop song...so I just don't know! If you liked Angel of Mine also check out her most recent Single CD, "Just Another Girl." Can't wait for another relase from Monica!!

This is a hauntingly beautiful song, and Monica does an excellent job performing it. This is actually a cover of the same song that Eternal (a UK band with limited exposure in the US) did in 1997.

This song is the most beautiful song I've ever heard. I really can't decide what I love the most about this song - The lyrics, the melody, Monica's amazing voice - it's all beautiful. I'm all teary eyed everytime I hear it, although I've heard it for like more than million times. It's so amazing how this song can reflect just how you feel about someone that is close to you.

I think that she is a great singer. I would like to meet her oneday. She has a great voice. The way she dress is very nice and neat. She is a good example for children. I realy like the type of music she sing. It don't have all that bad language. Keep up the good work Monica. P.S.''Shorty''

I knew i loved this song from the first time i heard it. This song brings back so many memories of love and i get teary eyed everytime i hear it....i still love the song though.... o:) Rox

THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE'S!!! IT REMINDS ME OF THE FIRST TIME I MET MY BOYFRIEND!!! HE'S LIKE A GUY THAT I NEVER THOUGHT WOULD COME MY WAY!!! HE IS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME!!! I CRY EVERYTIME I HERE IT!!!

Im from England and I bought the original by Eternal, Monica's cover version is not that bad , but I still prefer the original.

I think that Monica is one of the best female singers if not the best!The song Angel of Mine rocks!!

I love this song because it reminds me of all of my greatest memories of things, lovers and friends. Monica has a great voice and she has great rythme.
