I read several reviews out here who discouraged me from buying the book. They said the battery didn't last, light didn't work. There were several reviews to this affece. Well, I had the other book Moon In My Room...but no problems with batteries or lights. SO I decided to take a chance. I got this and the light was dim from the first moment I attempted it. On the same night, the light didn't work. So we NEVER got to see the book light up ever.....and batteries are expensive....
Anyhow. listen to the other reviews....this is a waste of money if you want the light to work.

My daughter loves this book and the little night light that is included in it. She likes to read about gaurdian angels at times, since I told her that we all have guardian angels who watch over us and the night light stays on for awhile before shutting off. And it is an easy to read for early beginning readers!

Received very quickly & in pristine shape. Bought 3 & each was a hit w/the child receiving it.

Does your child always want just one more story? Then this is the book for you. I catch my little one reading to himself in bed. He's not even two yet. But he loves to have the company of his books. This is the perfect book for his bed. Eventually he falls asleep and the light goes out on its own, but it's been a joy for him.
