According to author Ambika Wauters, there are three hierarchies of Heaven. The Heaven of Form relates to our everyday material life and contains the protection and love of Archangels, personal Guardian Angels, and Angel Princes who govern over specific geographic locations. The Heaven of Creation relates to relationships and contains the tender, merciful energies of the Powers, Virtues and Dominions. The Heaven of Paradise shows us how we can participate in co-creation with Source, and holds the glorious and powerful energies of Seraphim, Cherubim, and Thrones-the angels of love, wisdom, and glory.

The Angel Oracle is a 36-card deck reflecting these three Heavens, especially in terms of the gifts they provide to humanity and their angelic function. The cards reflect the three "suits" by differing borders. The 32-page companion book explains how to prepare the cards and how to ask questions of the oracle. Ms. Wauters provides three spreads (single card, Yin/Yang, and Past/Present/Future), as well as sample reading addressing a question of employment.

The card images are heavy on orange and brown coloring, and I found them a bit unattractive at first. However, after working with the Angel Oracle Deck for a bit, the cards exuded a classical, sacred feel in line with the spirit of the oracle. These cards are wonderful for connecting with Source energy and Divine love. From my experience, it's an accurate, comforting, and healing oracle-and a great deck for anyone with an affinity for angels.

Angels have been around long before the modern western religions were ever formed. They have been your guiding light, your conscience and most importantly, your protector. This elegant deck brings that wisdom and guidance straight to you.

Featuring thirty-six stunning renaissance styled illustrations of artist Warren Maddill, these card are rich in symbology, featuring such well-known angels as: Metatron, Michael, Raphael, Gabriel and Uriel; as well as introducing us to The Angel of Spiritual Growth, The Angel of Children, The Angel of Creativity and many, many more.

The profiles given in the companion book are knowledgeable, flowing and easy to understand. They give a deeper meaning to the card readings without forcing you to discard you the messages your intuition receives during the reading itself.

Also within the book are instructions on three types of reading styles. Ambika gives information on single card reading, a Yin/Yang spread and a three-card (past, present, future) spread. She also encourages the readers to develop their own methods.

The cards serve as a wonderful means for connecting to the higher powers, and from my experience are very accurate, and hearing what information and advice they have for you.

This appears to be a newer version of Angel Oracle: Working With the Angels for Guidance, Inspiration and Love by Ambika Wauters perhaps with a different book and box. I have left a review there of the cards and uploaded a couple of pictures. There aren't card images so it's hard to tell for sure, but the user descriptions of the cards seem to suggest it is the same deck probably with a softcover version of the book with smaller print as the older book was hardcover with about 112 pages. The box picture here suggests the look of the cards so I think it is the same deck. The deck has a medieval look with a golden patina and if you view the book preview for the other version you will see images of the cards and you can decide if the look is for you. These aren't angels will big smiles dancing on the cards. The cards have a somber look that won't be for everyone. The cards are better at suggesting the lesson to be learned and contemplated rather than divining future events. They may also make suitable cards for meditation or for a daily affirmations. If this is what you are looking for you may enjoy these cards. As with all decks, it will not appeal to everyone. One of the reviewers noted the size of the cards. They are larger than some of the decks. I shuffled them side to side and that seemed to work, but large decks aren't for everyone.

Beautiful holy looking deck. One of my spiritual consultants uses these cards and I truly appreciate the thoughts and "vigor" that they bring to my readings. I got me a set in order to practice my new endeavour which has to do with new age spirituality. This deck of cards is just what I need from an oracle designed to connect with the angelic energies.

I liked the content of cards but they are too big for me to shuffle is there any chance they could be made a little smaller

The artwork in this deck is stunning. however, doing readings with it was hard. If you are ok with collecting good art, get it. I knew my older clients would resonate with the positive messages so I got it. I am a psychologist who uses decks and spirituality in my therapy work.

These cards are lovely. I am an oracle card reader and I do like the look and energy of these cards. That said, the writing on the bottom of the cards more or less blend in with the light brown coloring, making it hard to read. It almost looks like the words and the background are one entity. Other than that, the cards have wonderful energy and in my opinion are interestingly beautiful in nature. I would definately purchase them and wear your reading glasses if you need to, so that you can better read the wording on the bottom of the card.

Every day I get Angel Wisdom from Beliefnet -- have been getting it for a few months now. The Daily Angel is one from Ambika Wauters book and card deck. So, a few days ago, I decided to see if I could buy the book and cards. The merchant that I used very quickly processed the order. I am quite impressed with both The Angel Oracle Deck and with the merchant.
