The Angel and the Outlaw was given to me from a friend, I liked the title and discription so I decided to read it. Good thing too!

This book is filled with action, suspence, and love. Three of the bests in my opinion. It starts out with a murder of a cop in a somewhat small town. The sister of the man that was murdered Hayley Tavistock, is destined to avenge her brother's killer. Only she doesn't know that she isn't the only one wanting to kill this man.

As she realized her failure of not being able to take the shot and shoot her brothers killer, a stranger comes up behind her. But everything about him was familar and caused a response in her that wasn't exspected. It was Cooper Webb the excon that had been caught and sent to prison by Hayley's brother after being convicted of theif. He had seen her failure and interfered with her plan, and she was determined to find out why.

Little did Hayley know what she was getting herself into. Cooper Webb may be out of prison, but he has some secretes of his own and some debts to pay. But Hayley is resolute in finding answers. And in doing so is going into dangerous territory and her black and white world is starting to have shades of gray. She is falling for this man she knows nothing about; except that he has pledged his life to protect her.
