I bought this as a gift for my mom who has an interest in angels and art. I was hoping that the illustrations inside would be similar to the beautiful, full-color watercolor images on the cover, but they are not. Instead, each "angel" is represented by a simple line drawing in a gold ink. And the prayers are more "food for thought" paragraphs than something to say out loud or meditate upon. The book was also much smaller than I assumed it was going to be.

A nice book, for sure, but I was hoping for a nice sized, full color book that would be a "wow" kind of gift that the reader could pour over on different occasions and enjoy a little bit at a time. It's not that- it's really more just a small gift that will go along top of the present, along with the card. I'll still give this to my mom, but it's not what I was expecting.

Angel PrayersThis is a beautifully written book that says so much more than the simple words that are on the pages. It speaks to the soul and touches the true purpose of our lives. I am now on my fourth reading of Angel Prayers. I keep the book in my bedroom and I periodically pick it up and read one, two or even three of the prayers, whatever feels right. Then I keep it bookmarked until I feel the urge to pick it up again. It's funny how whatever prayer I have bookmarked seems especially suited for whatever is going on in my life at that time. Amazing!
